This project studies the efficacy of targeted interventions in preventing opioid overdoses in the LGBTQ community by distributing free Naloxone kits and holding open overdose prevention trainings at LGBTQ clubs and bars in New York City. Through this project, we hope empower LGBTQ venues to treat overdoses and to extend the time window for treatment in overdose.
