Volunteer | Wellness Qlinic

From students to medical professionals, we invite all levels of training within Weill Cornell Medicine to work at the Wellness Qlinic. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to accomodate external volunteers, but we hope to soon.

Medical Student Volunteers

The Weill Cornell Medicine Wellness Qlinic is driven by the leadership and dedication of students across Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC). We invite students across all years of training to participate in the work that we do, from working with patients to driving our mission forward as part of our execute board.

All medical student volunteers undergo comprehensive training to prepare them for working with the LGBTQ population, including lectures in inclusive and sensitive language, LGBTQ health disparities, risk assessment, psychiatric evaluation, and many more.

Physician/Health Profession Volunteers

In addition to playing a key role in the bridging access to comprehensive psychiatric care, physician and health professional volunteers at the Wellness Qlinic have the unique opportunity to engage with LGBTQ-specialized mental health care.
