At the Wellness Qlinic, we pledge to provide compassionate, transparent, and patient-centered care to those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ). Please note that you must be at least 18 years old in order to be seen at the Wellness Qlinic at this time

Clinical Team

Our mental health clinical staff works in teams to provide the best individualized care possible to every patient.

Teams are all supervised by a senior psychiatrist or psychologist and also include a combination of students, trainees in psychology and psychiatry, and other volunteers working together. Patients should expect to have two providers meeting together with them in order to receive the best care.

Individual Counseling/Psychotherapy

As staffing and space permits, we offer counseling and/or time-limited psychotherapy to LGBTQ-identified patients enrolled in the clinic.

We will collaborate with you on setting specific goals for your wellness and treatment. Everyone who receives care in our clinic is also offered education about mental health and wellness that is tailored to your individual goals and needs.

Medication Management

We provide medication management for patients who are interested in taking medications as part of their treatment and recovery.

All of our patients are offered education about their medications, mental health and wellness. Medication management can also be combined with other clinic supports to help you achieve your goals.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offerings will initially include a weekly Coping Skills Group, which helps patients to build skills for managing intense emotions, distress, and challenges in relationships. Additional groups will be launched in the future based on interest and resources.

Community Referrals

Our clinic currently operates once a week, so if a more intensive treatment is recommended, or if there is a specific technique that we cannot provide, we will help refer you to other programs or providers.

We will also work to find other health or social support services that help in building your wellness plan.

If any of the above services at the Wellness Qlinic are of interest to you, please see our appointments page for important information and request an appointment using our online form.
